Quartz composite is a material which consists of 93% natural quartz.
After diamond, quartz is one of the hardest raw materials. Precious effects can be achieved through the addition of coloring and eventually small pieces of glass or mirrors. Quartz composite is not porous, has a compact surface and therefore, doesn´t have to be impregnated. It is only limited heat resistant. It is therefore recommended to use a trivet to avoid a thermal shock or discolorations. Through its high quartz percentage, it is extensive scratch proof.
